CVA-59 / USS Forrestal
A name with a history.
CVA-59 was the hull designation of the USS Forrestal. Justin Holden’s grandfather served aboard the ship as an E-9 Master Chief. The name honors that family connection and gives this work a sense of purpose: make room for people’s stories and explain the subjects that matter to them.
That history is personal. CVA-59 Media carries the name forward through interviews, hosting and educational productions.
